Dancing

Dancing: involves performing dance steps or tricks using a longboard with two kicktails to maximize the board's leverage and expand the range of possible tricks!

Choose your board

A longboard with two kicktails at each end of the board.

For Dancing, a wide and long board with two kicktails at both ends is preferred. The idea is to have enough space to perform dance steps in the middle of the board, use the kicktails for tricks, and maximize stability in carving due to its length.

A longer wheelbase provides great stability but also increases the turning radius, making the board more stable in curves.
A shorter wheelbase would increase the board's maneuverability, making it lighter and facilitating aerial tricks.

The central grip will be absent, as grip interferes with performing dance steps.

RKP Trucks

RKP trucks of 180mm (up to 165mm for narrower decks) and 50° are recommended, providing great stability and a high turning angle. They feature all the pivot characteristics needed for dancing on the board while riding with confidence.

Choose your wheels

Hardness and size

A light and small wheel between 60mm and 65mm with rounded lips, combined with a relative hardness between 78a and 86a.

These maximizes acceleration while pushing and minimizes the weight of the longboard.

WARNING: For wheels over 65mm, we recommend adding a riser between the trucks and the board, otherwise, the wheels might touch the board, causing unintentional braking. If you're unsure, feel free to ask our customer service team.
