Cruising / Carving

Cruising

Riding on roads with little elevation, often to travel from point A to point B over a short distance. A relatively short and responsive board is preferred for short distances, while longer and more flexible boards are ideal for longer distances.

Carving

Prioritizing turns over distance. The board is often flexible, allowing for an effective carve return, generating speed. The trucks are positioned at the ends of the board for maximum stability.

Choose your board

Traditional Cruiser Shape

Very popular due to its size, responsiveness, and versatility. Its kicktail allows you to clear curbs, obstacles, or even perform tricks inspired by traditional skateboarding.

Flexible Drop Through

The trucks are positioned at the ends of the board, providing great stability, and mounted through the board to make it lower, offering more comfort while pushing (the knee bends less while pushing). The flex adds even more comfort and a return of force in turns, allowing for pumping to generate speed.

Flexible Top Mount/ Pintail

The trucks mounted under the board provide more leverage in turns, increasing the carving effect at the expense of pushing comfort.

Trucks TKP ou RKP ?"

TRUCKS TKP - TRADITIONAL KING PIN

The classic geometry of skateboard trucks. A geometry that emphasizes the board's responsiveness and leverage, with the hanger designed to slide on rails, grinds, etc.

Recommended for short cruiser boards (-35") to take advantage of the board's kicktail.

TRUCKS RKP - REVERSE KING PIN

A completely different geometry from the TKP, maximizing stability but also the turning radius of the trucks. These trucks are larger and heavier than their counterpart but are more suitable for longboards.

Recommended for all longboards over 35".

Trucks RKP/TKP

The width of the trucks will be chosen based on the width of the board as well as the intended use:

180mm trucks are widely used for their stability and versatility.

Trucks under 180mm will have better responsiveness in turns but will be less stable.

Choose your wheels

Hardness and size

Hardness

The perfect cruising wheel is a very soft wheel (between 75a and 86a). A light and smooth-rolling wheel suitable for all types of surfaces. A fairly wide wheel with square lips, allowing for grip in curves. The hardness will range between 75a and 83a, increasing traction on the road.

The softer the wheel, the more comfortable it will be on rough surfaces, and the more grip it will have on the ground. A harder wheel will slide more easily but will be less comfortable.

Diameter:

Between 60mm and 70mm

A light and small wheel favoring acceleration while pushing but reducing grip and the comfort of a larger wheel.

Between 65mm and 70mm:

A versatile wheel, a balance between acceleration, comfort, and grip.

Over 70mm:

A versatile wheel, a balance between acceleration, comfort, and grip.

WARNING: For wheels over 65mm, we recommend adding a riser between the trucks and the board, otherwise the wheels might touch the deck, causing unintentional braking. If you're unsure, feel free to ask our customer service team.
