Founded in 1988 in Münster, Germany, at a time when skaters were using makeshift gear and helmets not designed for skating, TSG took the initiative to create the first safety equipment specifically for riders. Created by enthusiasts, TSG initially launched joint protection (elbow and knee pads) and introduced its first skate helmet two years later.
